Filipinos in heels stole the show last night in Asia’s Got Talent’s second semi-final showcase.

The Junior New System’s mash-up number got the hearts of both the crowd and the judges as they dance to Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and Ricky Martin’s “Maria (Uno, Dos, Tres)” with the usual impressive moves while flinging co-members into the air. But when Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud” and Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” boomed, the crowd screamed louder as the group danced and flipped while in stilettos!
The crowd and the judges gave their performance a standing ovation. They even got the Golden Buzzer sending them straight to the finals! Check out their performance on this video:
Meanwhile, the fate of Gerphil Flores, who also performed last night rests still on the public voting which will end on Monday. Flores sang an opera rendition of “Where Do I Begin.” The judges, especially David Foster, gushed over how great she sang the song. Watch this video to see her belt out the song:
Last week, young singer Gwyneth Dorado was the first Filipino to make it to the finals of the talent search show after getting most of the public votes. She performed Jessie J’s “Nobody’s Perfect.” The 10-year old Dorado expressed her thanks to her supporters and fans in her Facebook account after getting into the finals. See her rock the stage here:
