[title]Movie Review: In Bruges[/title] For what it's value, I hope I do not find yourself in Bruges, either. Starring Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Martin McDonagh. POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING: You have been warned. A theatre response can normally inform how good or dangerous a film was, no matter what opinion I might have. The reaction from this movie was silence. Maybe it is the world and the movies we've grown up on here, or perhaps we didn't know the way to gauge it. There are things I liked about this movie, and things I was unsure of. Read my evaluation for other movie here Bad Movies of the 1960's: Paint Your Wagon - review by 123Movies. The story is about Ken (Gleeson) a pro hit-man and his new associate Ray (Farrell). After a job in killing a priest will get botched (a toddler gets shot in the head) each are informed by their boss Harry (Fiennes) to get to Bruges. There Ken takes in the surroundings and does the vacationer factor while Ray tries finding methods of getting his kicks and on the identical time, battling the inside demon of by chance killing a child. They're to be there for two weeks till their employer decides what to do. Ray walks around and gets excited about a film being shot there due to a) a cute woman he wants to be with and a couple of) the film has a dwarf. Complications occur when Harry calls Ken and tells him to off Ray the next day. When Ken begins to go through with killing Ray, Ray is about to commit suicide. This adjustments issues and Harry travels to Bruges, hell-bent on killing Ray and Ken. This movie begins sluggish, but begins selecting up midway through. Gleeson, Farrell, and Fiennes do nicely as the characters they need to play. The solely actual drawback I had with the movie is... I liked it, but can't say that I loved it. There are humorous moments and I cannot fault the film for having a story (which is a grievance I actually have on plenty of films). It's simply that there was somberness as everybody walked out of the theatre. Maybe it needs a second viewing. Reason to see this movie: it is a completely different type of hitman "dark comedy." Reason not to see this movie: you're not into indie/foreign or pondering motion pictures. Or hitman films.
